Pr. Barry Babin has done a brilliant presentation about value, presenting new research results about value when co-creation between consumers and retailers occurs. After very interesting parallel sessions, the plenary session on retailing and sustainable development attracted lot of interest, thanks to four presentations. The social event at the Regional Fund of Contemporary Art was a real succes, with a surprise: a typical demonstration of our French countrymen.

We would like to draw your attention on an innovative session scheduled on Friday 2:30 – 4:00 pm “education in retailing”. Going back to the root of the EAERCD with its Education dimension, we propose a session - which A. Collins has kindly accepted to chair – on the following basis as you may have read in the programme: “Come with at least one case study from a company within the retail sector, free of copyrights, and share it with other participants! It will be a way to enrich our retailing lectures. Discuss about teaching, learning and education in retailing.” Should you have any question, do not hesitate to contact us.

In 10 days, the 18th EAERCD conference will start! We have scheduled varied events we hope you are going to enjoy. Our Keynote speaker - Pr. B. Babin, Max P. Watson, Jr. Endowed Professor, Louisiana Tech University will open the EAERCD 2015 conference under the theme of “Value of consumption experience in omnichannel retailing”, considering how to set a direction for retail in an omnichannel context.
